Welcome to Journey on Road! These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our bus booking services, including ticket reservations, cancellations, modifications, and customer support. By accessing or using our website, mobile application, or customer service channels, you agree to comply with these terms. If you do not accept any part of these Terms and Conditions, we recommend that you refrain from using our services. Journey on Road serves as an intermediary platform facilitating bus ticket bookings and does not operate any bus services directly. The actual transportation service is provided by independent third-party bus operators, and we are not responsible for their performance, quality of service, delays, or any operational issues.

Journey on Road allows users to browse available bus routes, select preferred operators, book tickets, and manage reservations. While we strive to provide accurate information regarding bus schedules, ticket availability, fares, and operator policies, all details are subject to change without prior notice, and we do not guarantee the accuracy of such information at all times. Ticket prices fluctuate based on availability, operator pricing policies, and seasonal demand. We are not liable for price changes after a booking has been made. Upon completing a booking, customers will receive a confirmation email or SMS containing their ticket details. It is the passenger's responsibility to verify the accuracy of the information provided at the time of booking. If any discrepancies are found, they must be reported to customer support immediately.

Payments for bus bookings can be made using various methods, including credit cards, debit cards, UPI, net banking, and digital wallets. All transactions are processed through secure third-party payment gateways, ensuring that your financial data remains protected. Journey on Road does not store or retain any payment information. In the event of a failed transaction where money has been deducted from the user’s account but no ticket has been issued, the refund will be processed within 5-7 business days, depending on the bank’s processing time. Users are advised to keep a record of their transaction details for reference in case of disputes. Journey on Road is not liable for any banking or payment processing delays.

Our cancellation and refund policies vary depending on the bus operator. If a user wishes to cancel a booking, they must do so through our website, mobile application, or customer support before the departure time. The amount refunded will be determined based on the cancellation policy of the respective bus operator. Most cancellations are subject to a fee, which varies depending on how close to the departure time the request is made. Refunds will be credited to the original payment method used during booking. However, Journey on Road is not responsible for any delays in refunds caused by banking institutions. If a passenger misses a bus due to personal reasons, including late arrival at the boarding point, no refund will be issued.

Passengers must report at the boarding point at least 30 minutes before the scheduled departure time. It is the passenger’s responsibility to ensure they reach the pickup location on time. Journey on Road is not liable for missed buses due to late arrival, incorrect boarding point selection, or any unforeseen circumstances affecting the passenger’s ability to board the bus. Additionally, passengers must carry valid government-issued identification (Aadhaar card, Passport, Driving License, etc.), as some bus operators may require ID verification before allowing boarding. Failure to present a valid ID may result in denial of travel, and Journey on Road will not be responsible for any losses incurred.

Each passenger is permitted to carry a limited amount of baggage, generally up to 15 kg, unless otherwise specified by the bus operator. Additional baggage may be subject to extra charges. Passengers are responsible for keeping their personal belongings safe. Journey on Road and the bus operators are not liable for any loss, theft, or damage to luggage during transit. Carrying prohibited items such as explosives, flammable substances, weapons, or illegal goods is strictly forbidden. If a passenger is found violating this policy, they may be denied boarding, and legal action may be taken.

Journey on Road strives to provide a comfortable and safe travel experience. However, we are not responsible for any operational delays, route changes, vehicle breakdowns, or disruptions caused by unforeseen circumstances such as traffic congestion, weather conditions, strikes, or roadblocks. If a bus is canceled by the operator, passengers will be offered either an alternate bus or a full refund. If a trip is partially completed and terminated midway due to unforeseen reasons, a partial refund may be issued at the discretion of the bus operator. However, we do not guarantee any compensation for inconvenience caused by delays or service disruptions.

While we facilitate communication between passengers and bus operators, we do not have direct control over operator services, and the resolution of complaints is subject to the operator’s policies. Passengers must adhere to proper conduct and behavior during their journey. Any unruly, violent, or disruptive behavior may result in removal from the bus without a refund.

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of India, and any disputes arising from the use of Journey on Road services will be subject to the jurisdiction of courts in New Delhi. By using our services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to abide by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you should not use our platform.
